I fell in love with Mulberry the moment I walked into the store in West Village, NYC. The material feels so delicate but yet so strong and sturdy at the same time. But you just can’t stop touching it – it’s just so beautiful and soft.
This bag is quite similar to the current IT bag – the Mulberry Alexa – with the same structure but with simpler straps and hardware. I don’t mind this at all, considering I absolutely adore black bags with gold hardware. It is just a stunning & classy look.
Although it’s a great bag, it’s probably not as unique in design – it sort of just looks like a lot of other bags. But that is not to say that I don’t love it, I do very much. I love that it won’t overpower your outfit and you can choose many variation of accessories to match.
The Mulberry Alexa was already a great design – the roominess, the flap, the shoulder strap, the handle – are all perfect for comfort, versatility and practicality. As the design of the Tilly Bag is no different in this respect – this is a sure win.
